She KnewShe didn't know when it had happened, but as Rarity looked up at Spike, she knew it. He was biting his lip, his eyes wide and hopeful. His green hair was as mussed as ever, but that moment, she knew she would never see him as a boy again. She relaxed her shoulders as she smiled up at him with a brief nod of her head. Slowly, he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. A sharp gasp was the only sign of surprise. She knew what she had known all along.

She loved him.

Once more, the digitally colored version of the sketch by the same name.

This is the finished cover-art for my up-coming Fan Fiction, and I have to say some of the best digital work I've ever done. Although this is simply because I learned how to use more of the tools in the program I'm using through a couple tutorials.

Note: Rarity's hair is the most complex F$*#($* thing ever and extremely frustrating to draw just perfectly!

This is cute. And I notice a lot of people say that Rarity's mane is hard to draw. I can see why.

Thank you ^^ It's so great to find that people like my art after working at it for 2 years. It gives me motivation.

Also, yea, it's really hard to draw her hair. I probably spent at least an hour erasing and re-drawing it when I was sketching it to get the lines to curve just right.

Also, if I wanted to draw Rarity in ANY other perspective, forget about it. I only managed to do that because I've seen her hair from that perspective a million times.
